The Painting/Graphic „IF IBWHERE A BEE“ is divided into different picture levels. The sensitive environment that humans need to survive is symbolized by bee wings. The driver embodies modern society and everything that seems „cool“ and „sexy“, but in reality nobody really needs. Man (driver image level) is hardly connected to nature (bee image level), there is only a very small contact point left. Man, as an increasingly empty shell and soulless being, is desperate because he knows that he is doing wrong by destroying the environment from which he lives, by placing the functioning of the economy above the protection of the environment. We Europeans have looked after economic growth and prosperity for centuries before we discovered love for the environment. The focus on environmental protection issues comes with the attainment of wealth.

This work expresses that nature and technology are not really compatible.
